Crewelwork bed curtain; white linen and cotton ground cloth; hem across top with linen tape binding and metal curtain rings; borders of polychrome wool embroidery; narrow stems in stem stitch, thicker stems and shaded areas of mounds, flowers, leaves and berries in New England laid stitch (or Romanian couching); seed stitch filling in some flower centers and leaves; yellow flower centers in grid of stem stitching and couched threads; at least one flower with bullion stitching at center
