DescriptionForty-three gold elements are formed into lion's heads with sun-disk and two uraei. Carnelian beads are arranged between the loops. Beads remaining from stringing (Sudan catalogue).
ProvenanceFrom Meroe, Western Cemetery, Beg. W 20. February, 1922: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; 1924: assigned to the MFA by the government of the Sudan.
