Semi-circular ash arms/back in three sections joined with dowel joints. Saddle-shaped ash seat with projections on front edge of sides. Ash is grit-blasted, sanded and waxed. Projections on either side of seat joined to ends of arms/back with steel nuts and bolts. Welded steel tubing front consisting of single back stile/back leg and two front legs. Two side stretchers form an arc downward from the front legs to the back and are joined by a center stretcher. Steel frame and pointed forged steel feet finished with graphite paste.

Markings

Marks: branded "Nigel Coates/London" under seat near front center.
