DescriptionCoil-built water jar having a ruffled lip and two handles. Body has been painted with black, red, and brown slip decoration on white ground. Geometric designs consist of hatched and striped chevrons, cloud formations, foliage, and bird symbols painted in one continuous pattern beginning below triangular shaped patterns at the lip of the vase, and ending at base, which has been painted red. Interior of neck has been painted with red clay slip; rest of interior is white body.
