Dark orange-red carnelian. Oval intaglio; flat front and back; set in a modern golden ring. Youth in ¾ view bending to left to write on a tablet. He wears a chlamys. Below, a head surrounded with a zigzagging design. Cable border. Small missing chips around the border. Yellow incrustations over the surface.
