Brownish red-orange carnelian (also called sard). Intaglio. Flat front with uneven inward bezel and rounded back with flattened bottom. A nude winged youth (Amor) stands in contrapposto in three-quarter view with head in profile to the right. He holds a bow in his right hand and a quiver of arrows is located in the field below his upraised left arm. The pectoral musculature is well-defined. He stands on a ground line. There is a chip off the top of the gem.
