DescriptionIntaglio. Flat front and back, with inward back bezel. A nude athlete standing in three-quarters and facing left. Weight on right leg; left leg slightly bent and looks down at his hands. He holds a strigil in one hand and prepares to scrape himself. At his feet, a water jug. Little detail in face and no visible hands; body and torso finely modeled. Motif situated on a ground line.
