Medallion made of more than one piece with figures that closely resemble those in the Coptic tapestries with scenes from the life of the Patriarch Joseph. In the left is a round-shaped crowned figure carrying (?) or holding a figure seated on a throne and surrounded by several others including two that resemble Joseph in the well. The crowned figure may represent The Virgin Mary with Christ. The border consists of lotus-like floral motifs on both sides of a branch. The ground color of the main area of the medallion is woven with red wool and the design is woven with light and dark green, brown, blue, pink, red and yellow wool, and natural-colored linen.
