This ovoid jar has a rounded base and a striaght neck with three ribs formed during shaping by rotation. The rim is folded. The exterior has been treated with a red wash.
From Kerma, Cemetery S, Tumulus IV, grave 410. 1913: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
