DescriptionFine white cotton ground, embroidered with white linen yarns. Scalloped bottom border with small cartouches and flowers worked in variety of drawnwork patterns; thin stems with trefoil leaves appear at regular intervals above border. Single linen yarn drawn through each ruffle near top edge (possibly intended to help gather ruffle to wear). Selvedges present both sides. Good condition.
