DescriptionLarge, eight-pointed, central medallioin containing cartouches, geometric motives, and a small eight-ointed medallion at its center. Around this, symmetrically placed, are larger cartouches with meandering tendrils and geometric motives. Narrow outer border with repeating motives of an oblong shape with four symmetrically placed hooked tendrils, alternating with a quatre-foil design. Red, green, yellow, white and blue silk yarns on a cotton ground. Soiled and slightly worn.
