DescriptionPanel. A crouching, nude female (?) figure, outlined in blue with red highlights, alternating with a cypress tree (?) motif, in red, yellow and blue, repeating in identical rows on a white field. Silk velvet on a linen ground. Attached border of red silk with a simple floral motif, brocaded in yellow silk and metallic yarns repeating in staggered rows. A square of unpatterened green velvet in each corner of the border area. Slightly worn.
