DescriptionQuadrilateral panel. Polychrome silks and crewels on linen canvas; design worked entirely in petit point. Shows a tiny hill from which grow a variety of flowering plants including roses, tulips and carnations, on a white field; bordering this, a band of floral sprigs on a white ground. Two lower corners not embroidered; covered with pieces of similar embroidery. Originally probably rectangular; now pulled into a parallelogram. Slightly faded.
