DescriptionLoosely-woven linen tabby ground, embroidered in tent stitch with polychrome silks and crewels and silver yarns. A garden park with long Palladian building at far end flanked by twin chinoserie pavillions or aviaries (? E. Welch); hedges and trees beyond. Middle and foreground filled with trees in pots, birds, dogs, monkeys, fashionably dressed men and women, etc. Elaborate fountain in center. Faded, stained. Silver tarnished. Brown crewels partly rotted out.
