DescriptionDesign of a lioness felling a gazelle or deer repeating in loose rows over a simple repeating floral background of curving stalks with leaves, blossom and small dogs. Red, green, blue, black and white silk, plus silver and gold colored wrapped (metallic?) yarns. a: edged with a band of blue and yellow silk with a Greek key design; b: field edged and divided into quarters by tape, mounted on blue cotton.
