DescriptionHeavy yellow silk: the small all-over design of leaf-like forms touching each other, is of the same shade of yellow. The ruffles are pinked. The vest is of embroidered India muslin. The front breadth is sewed in by machine and there are other signs which suggest that this dress was altered, probably for a costume party. "This dress was the property of Mrs. Enoch Huse (Sarah Hill), a native of Boston, who was married in 1783". Miss Annie Jewett.
