Piece of linen embroidered in blue cotton thread with two thin vines with c-scrolls terminating in single flower or leaf motifs; probably originally part of a bed hanging; stems of two thin vines and outlines of flowers and leaves in stem stitch; small dots in leaves and flowers in cross and seed stitch; large square dots in flower on upper right in satin stitch; criss-cross patterned filling in some flowers in couched open herringbone
