Pectoral amulet of greenish faience, glaze heavily worn. Depicts the baboon-headed god, Hapy, one of the Four Sons of Horus (protectors of the viscera of the deceased). Part of a complete set comprised of objects 94.255-94.258. The mummiform figure wears a lappet wig. Pierced at head and feet for stringing and/or attachment to wrappings.
Said to be from Amarna. By 1894: with Mrs. Samuel D. Warren collection; 1894: given to the MFA by Mrs. Samuel D. Warren.
