DescriptionIvory pendant of roughly drop-shaped proportions. Horizontal incised lines for decoration, with off-centered, almost perpendicular line across the rounded bottom. Traces of white remain in some of the incised lines. Hole drilled at top for suspension. Battered condition with fragments broken away and missing from surface.
ProvenanceFrom Mesaid (Mesa'eed). 1910: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt.
