DescriptionMetal purl (partially in raisedwork), glass beads, spangles, metal strips and metallic yarns on a tan cotton ground. A pair of angels or peris wearing long skirts and high boots, one holding a floral fan (?), the other a fly whisk(?). They stand on either side of a kneeling camel which bears a carriage on its back. Alternating bands of simple floral motives border the scene. Partly unreadable due to missing purl, spangles and beads. Very badly worn. Partial fringe at bottom.
