DescriptionThe ground and the design are both woven with gold thread. The design which consists of curving stems bearing flowers and leaves placed close together to give an all-over effect, is distinguished from the ground by an outline of red silk. This looks like a comparatively modern piece, the design of which has been copied from one of an earlier period.
