DescriptionThe warp thread is of brown cotton; the weft thread of the ground is very light pink silk. The design which is partly brocade and partly satin consists of long twisting stems and leaves separating flowers, and branches of flowers, woven with fine and coarse pink, red, green, yellow and gray silk, and silver thread. In the middle is a silver form enclosing a silver dove. Around three sides is a narrow border of silver. Much worn.
