Violet cannelé simpleté ground. Brocaded pattern shows a pair of undulating stripes composed of sprays of white feathers and small flowers. Between these, at regular intervals, are bouquets of pink roses and small green blossoms. Several weaving mistakes or breaks in sequence in pattern of a). Bottom of a) is an end-of-run and shows inscription brocaded in two places. Each piece is full loom width and has both selvedges complete. Surface somewhat worn; small stains and discolorations.
