DescriptionThe ground of the main border is red. The design of long diamond shaped forms enclosing other geometrical forms, is woven with yellow, white and light blue silk, silver thread and white cotton. On each side of this border are narrow borders. On the upper edge is embroidered a waving band and conventional flowers in profile. Knotted into the lower edge is a twisted fringe of red and white cotton and yellow silk. Sewed originally on a piece of white cotton. The border itself was made in two pieces and fagoted together.
