Piece, irregular shape, vaguely oval, with four semi-circles cut out at edges (probably a chair seat). Red woodblock (?) print on white ground pattern shows two pictorial oval medallions alternating horizontally and vertically. In one, a milkmaid at a churn before a farm; in the other, chickens in farmyard. Interspaces dilled with sprays of carnations or daisies. A faded spot and a stain; several small holes.
