White silk ground woven with strips of silver; the design, a very conventional flower form, in an ogival frame-work is of red cut and uncut velvet. Only a small part of the design which is large shows. This piece is of the same type as 85.299, 91.178, 93.327a and b, 85.350. A similar piece is called by Mme Errera, Spanish work (?) of the 16th cent., by Cole, Itlaian middle of the 16th cent., by Cox, Genese, 15th cent.
