Catalogue Raisonné Robert-Dumesnil 325, i/ii; IFF 248, i/ii; Le Blanc 166
DescriptionAccording to Robert-Dumesnil, this portrait appeared in a book of poems by Pierre de Brach published in Bordeaux in 1576. However, the print contains the inscription "AETATIS SUAE XLI." Since Brach was born in 1547, he would have been 41 in 1588. Either Robert-Dumesnil or the inscription on the plate is mistaken.
