Obverse: Profile bust of Pius IX looking to proper right; inscribed at edge “PIVS·IX·PONT·MAX·AN·XXI·” and under bust “[ ].BIANCHI.S.”.

Reverse: Among a crowd, a woman stands at proper left having her feet washed by a man kneeling at proper right; inscribed below “[ ]IANCHI INV SC” and in exergue “EXEMPLVM DEDI/VOBIS”.
