Obverse: Profile bust of Pius IX looking to proper right; inscribed at edge “PIVS·IX·PONT·MAX·AN·XXIV” and under bust “I·BIANCHI·S·”.

Reverse: Memorial monument flanked by two trees at each side; inscribed above “IN·COEM·VRB·AD·AGRVM·VERAN·”, below “[ ]·VESPIGNANI·A·/·BIANCH·S”, and in exergue “MILITIBVS·QVI·PRO·PETRI·SEDE·PVGNANTES·OCCVBVERVNT/A·MDCCLXVII”.

Inscription
