DescriptionThe woman depicted on this plaque stands facing the viewer with her arms raised and her hands closed into fists. Her hair falls down past her shoulders, and is further articulated with horizontal striations. The foot of her dress and her waistband are raised slightly from the rest of her dress. Beneath each of the goddess’s fists, on either side of her legs, a small dot can be seen. The entire pictorial field is bordered by a braided pattern. At top, 3 cylinders are preserved, each decorated with simple incised banding lines. These were likely once strung so that the object could be hung from a necklace or pectoral.
