Nude youths with pairs of spears, dancing woman, Eros. Many parts of the decoration are in relief. Eros and the woman are white.
This vase was decorated with gilded relief in antiquity; unfortunately, most of that gold decoration has been lost. One can still observe the high relief lines that add a three-dimensional quality to the painted decoration. Three warriors watch as a young woman dances with Eros.
