Fragment, made up of three pieces stitched together. Copperplate engraving, printed in brown on cotton cloth. Piece does not show complete repeat. At upper left, in a landscape setting with a domed hut in the background, two boys hold up a large hoop while a third boy runs at them from the right. At very bottom, head and shoulders of two boys; in the background, a clump of poplar-like trees in a fenced enclosure. Between these motifs, trees and flying birds; an owl perches on a branch at upper right. Cotton discolored; small holes and tears.
