Quilt composed of repeating blocks of white cotton appliqued with abstracted flower basket patterns in red,brown and orange, alternated with bright red cotton blocks stitched with pattern of floral medallions. Said to have been made by Mary Van Nuys Jacoby (1806–1897) paternal great, great grandmother of the donor.
