DescriptionMade up of pieces of embroidered and plain linen. Tabby-woven linen ground, showing serpentine stalks bearing tulip buds and snowflake-like leaves, within a rectangle. Narrow border of similar motif on smaller scale. Pattern embroidered with red, blue, green and pale ochre silks in darning and chain stitches. Brown stains; many holes, some patched. Lined with light muslin.
