In the center is an elaborate monogram of the letter ‘A’ beneath the crown of England (?). On either side are lush horizontally undulating stalks with several types of large scale naturalistic blossoms, plus leaves, wheat, and grape bunches. Partially in raised work. Galloon and red velvet border. Polychrome floss silk yarns, several types of metallic yarns, metal strips, metal purl, spangles and chenille yarns on a cream silk ground. Badly worn in some areas; ground marked with blue ink lines. (This piece may possibly have some connection with Prince Albert, Princess Alberta or their royal house hold.)
