DescriptionNatural colored linen warp and weft. Central field shows powder of pointed, serrated leaves. Wide border shows floral vine with pairs of birds. Narrow hem at each end. Selvedges complete, red stamp "Wallace" and initials MFB 6(?) in blue silk cross stitch at one end. Linen browned; a number of brown spots.
ProvenanceBelieved to have belonged to Moses and Frances Barnard (married c. 1796), of Nantucket.
