DescriptionCoarse tabby-woven cotton ground, full loom width. Along one end, a wide band showing conventional blossoms or stars arranged in columns; above, three large and four small conventional trees supporting an open square containing conventional figures or plants. Embroidered with polychrome silks and wools, primarily black, in square, stem and cross stitches. Cotton browned and stained; some yarns fallen out; numerous stains.
