Redware slender shoulder jar. It has a haematite wash. The rim is carinated, and the base is flat. It is well modeled and hand made. It is incrusted with white. It is in good condition.
From Zawyet el-Aryan, Grave Z 101. 1910-11: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
