DescriptionLimestone block with part of a hieroglyphic inscription in fine low relief. There are 5 vertical and 1 horizontal line of inscription. The edges of the block are chipped. The back was sawn off in modern times. It was cleaned by Young in 1950.
ProvenanceFindspot Information: [Exped. Photo] C 14570
Provenance not known; found in Egyptian Basement in 1949 where it had been for many years. Perhaps from E.E.F. excavations at Abydos (???)
