One of a pair of pierced dishes (see 51.885). Chinese for export. Elliptical with almost flat pierced rim, gold bands of delicate design. Shield of arms, bird crest, in ermine mantling in center surrounded by sprigs of flowers and fruits.

Painted and gilt with ermine-mantled armorial within five floral and fruit sprays, surrounded by gilt stylized cell diaper band and the rim with a leafy border.
