DescriptionBeads from net over 14-2-1402. Beads were paraffined while in place but the heat of the sun melted the wax and the beads fell apart. Fragments of original stringing. Small amount of shell ring beads. Small container of blue faience ring beads.
ProvenanceFrom Nubia, Kerma, 1600C/2. 1914: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of the Sudan.
