DescriptionA walnut stand curved like a bow with a slight projection similar to where a branch might have been sawn off, 1/4 way from base, in which tip of rock rests; attached to base is a horizontal foot with semi-circular indentation with similar half piece on either side to hold base of rock. A round dowel 3 1/4 in. long, painted black, from which depends a reeded drop, is attached to the side of the stand and holds the brass socket. Oval granite rock is mottled gray/brown. InscriptionsMarked on side of base: "T" with double shaft within a circle, like a brand.
On base of rock: a red "4" within a circle.
On underside of stand and three support pieces: a black "4" within a circle.
