ARMORIALS: engraved on spout (somewhat crookedly), arms of Thomas 1st Marquessof Rockingham (created 3rd Earl 1745 and 1st Marquess 1746) impaling Earl of Winchelsea & Nottingham for Mary, 4th daughter; Earl's coronet, and Motto of the Order of Bath, "Tria Juncta In Uno".
