Scarabs and scaraboids

Scarab seal of blue faience with glaze. Back type is somewhat naturalistic and carries “v-notches” that suggest a date in Dynasty 18. Base carries incised hieroglyphic text spelling a royal name, Neb-Maat-Re (Nb-MAat-Ra, Amenhotep III). Pierced lengthwise for suspension.
