DescriptionOrange-red carnelian. Scarab with a flat, oval base engraved in intaglio; pierced lengthwise. Griffin with extended wings in profile to left. Hatched border. ‘A globolo’ technique. Back carved as a beetle with the thorax and the elytra divided with a line. Winglets indicated with a chevron and a line on the right and two parallel lines on the left. Plastic, hatched legs. Hatched plinth.
