Scarabs and scaraboids

Banded onyx: opaque white, translucent white, brown. Intaglio. Set in modern gold swivel hoop ring. Motif oriented vertically. Warrior walking left, looks over left shoulder to the right; ends of fillet extend away from his head. He carries a wounded or dead man, who has been impaled by a spear in his lower abdomen; hair is loose and left arm flung over head. Ground line. Cable border. Beetle: flattened. Line border around thorax, which become a hatched at the division between thorax and elytra. Dividing line between elytra. Small winglets on both elytra.
