Opaque yellow with brown spots, (possibly) burnt. Intaglio. Pierced for stringing (horiztonal). Motif oriented horizontally. A lion facing right poised to leap. Paws rendered with a series of five pellets; body is carefully modeled with three parallel lines along the haunches and some modeling of the ribs. Mane is carefully rendered with a series of lines at varying angles. Pellet for eye. Three pellets along nose. Motif situated on a faint ground line.
