Intaglio. Pierced for stringing (horizontal). Motif oriented vertically. Frontal female head (possibly a nymph), wearing a collar-style necklace. She has short hair, parted in the middle that fans out all around her face, wide nose, and large, almond-shaped eyes. Head tilted slightly to left. Cable border.
By date unknown: with Edward Perry Warren (according to Warren's records: Bought in London from Ready who said it was from Asia Minor.); purchased by MFA from Edward Perry Warren, December 1901
