Chiaroscuro woodcut title border in red and white of cherubs and harpies. There are numerous editions of this text printed in this year. Despite the prominent "Wittenberg" on the title page, this is attributed to Heinrich Steiner in Augsburg (see British Museum STC, and ref. in RLIN to Weller, Repertorium, 2098). Title border has been attributed to Lucas Cranach and to Hans Wechtlin.
