Black, sculpturesque purse. The purse is abstractly shaped; its soft curves and sharp points contrast with one another. The sturdy cotton fabric has most likely been dyed with natural dyes in shades of black; there are areas of tie die in shades of grey. The dyed surface is decoratively stitched with repetitive curvilinear designs (black thread). There is a long black zipper allowing the user to open the purse. There is a long shoulder strap which has been wrapped in black leather. Like many of Takeda’s other works, this sculpturesque purse seems somewhat bodily and biomorphic in its shape, and unique features.
